Hardware and software specifications for MedPro installation

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Operating system

MedPro runs on Windows, from Windows 7 onwards.

NOT compatible with Windows Vista, XP, or earlier versions. NOT with Windows Server 2003 or earlier.
Storage

Compatible with any disk system. Solid state drives (SSD) are recommended on the server for superior performance and reliability.

Monitor

Compatible with any resolution. Maximum performance at 1920x1080 or higher resolutions (Full HD).

Local network

A 1000 Mbps local network is recommended for multiple workstations. 100 Mbps for small groups.

WiFi is NOT recommended.
UPS

An uninterruptible power supply is recommended for all computers, server, and workstations.

Backups

A backup system appropriate to the data volume. Backups are your best and most affordable insurance policy.
